About Me

Edwin Basa: Hello. My name is Edwin(or Ed) Basa. I currently live in Hawaii, but had lived in Japan for over a decade. I'm a freelance digital artist mostly focusing on sci-fi genre. Although I'm mostly self-taught, I learned the fundamentals of design from formal studying at the University of Hawaii. I've been fortunate to have my artwork posted in ImagineFX and Lightspeed Magazine. Also, I was excited to be asked to provide artwork for Stronghold Games by designing card illustrations for their Core Worlds board game.
